Setup email on Blackberry

If you are using a Blackberry you will likely want to keep your push email ability (instant delivery). To do so you will want to simply setup a forwarder to the blackberry email address.

Keep in mind you can have a standard imap/pop3 account and also forward it by adding an alias/forwarder in cPanel.

Once you have added the forwarder, you can set the "reply-to" address to the forwarder.

Now you should get all emails on your standard email in addition to your Blackberry.

For example, your blackberry account is mybbaccount@blackberry.yourprovider.com. Your standard email address is steve.smith@yourdomain.com. You would setup a forwarder in cPanel that sends steve.smith@yourdomain.com to mybbaccount@blackberry.yourprovider.com and set the "Reply to" on your blackberry to steve.smith@yourdomain.com.
